You want to know about me? Why? *grin*
Those people who don't call me Jarel call me John (or at least, the polite ones do). I'm not sure which name I'm more known as, which is a scary thought. I'm 26 years old, about 6'3" tall with curly brownish/grey hair and blue eyes.
I've been married to Pling since September 2000, although we were together for about four and a half years before that, and best friends for a year before that. She makes the world a nice place to be in :)
Originally I'm from the Newcastle / Durham area (i.e. northern England), but after spending a few years studying in Cambridge, I moved to Ipswich to work full-time for BT. Work interests are mainly oriented around next generation Internet protocols, but with a particular focus on IPv6 and DNS.
My spare time is filled with a mix of listening to music, computer/internet geekery (well, I did write a talker, what do you expect?), karate, brewing coffee, and reading. I also periodically torment random musical instruments for short periods of time before giving up on them again ;)
